This project's requirement was to build an object to satisfy a need determined through user surveys.

The determined need was for a universal lid for food storage containers, which we attempted to solve by creating a circular lid out of silicon that could stretch over several sizes of bowls and round containers.

​

I modeled the mold in SolidWorks, laser cut it, and prepared the assembly before the silicon was poured.
